1950 Chevy Chevrolet 4100 Truck
NO RESERVE!!
Here is another neat old truck we dug out of the back of a barn, here in Kansas. It spent a good portion of its life under a roof - so it is rock solid - no rust that I can find. Keep in mind, it did spend its life on a farm so it does have some dings and dents - but overall very straight and extremely solid.
The old Chevy ran good when parked, but hadn't been started in many years. We stuck a battery in it (12 volt, either needs converted or a 6 volt battery) put some fresh gas in, and she fired right up. It does need a tune up, plugs, points, etc. from sitting all those years, and probably a carb kit, as it needs a little choke to stay running. The mastercylinder for the brakes was dry, so I added brake fluid, and even the brakes work!
This truck has several things going for it - first of all it has a hydraulic dump bed, which is handier than a pocket on a t-shirt. It is also a short wheel base - 138" - so it should be easy to get around in, and park. Maybe the best thing is the patina- I used a little cleaner wax on the passenger slide (I didn't do a very good job) just to show that the paint still has some shine left, and the hood and tops of fenders are sun-baked. I think it would look awesome just cleaned up and clear coated. There are so many options with this one - spend a weekend or two on it and have a daily driver, or go all out with a small block, LS, or diesel re-power. Please call or text Cort with and questions - 620-786-5172. I have plenty of space for this to sit awhile for you to find your best shipping deal, as long as its paid for, and please check my previous feedback and know you can bid with confidence. Thank you and Good luck!
