What is a Long Horn Chevrolet Pick up? First. there were very few built. A Long Horn is a 3/4 ton with an extended bed of 8 inches. along with the lengthened frame of also 8 inches. This was built for the bigger campers that people were demanding. This Long Horn came with 402 engine. four barrel carb. dual exhaust . 3 speed automatic transmision. power steering. power brakes. Very odd. this truck did not and still does not have a radio. Nor did it have Air Conditioning. I personnaly drove it ocaisonally for a year or so. Drove great. good power. really nice. Then I decided to restore it. I did a number of good things to it. but not enough time and just to many things to do. prioritys. Therefore I decided to sell my Long Horn. nbsp; Assembly required. The thing that you will notice first are the doors. left them for the last. they are good. no rust and original. The western mirrors did harm the mounting holes and they must be repaired or replace the doors. The mirror brackets are still usable. The bed wood floor is gone. ready for a new floor. I was debating on removing the gas tank from the cab and just using the auxilary tank. The seat is new and a perfict match of the original. My goal was to make it just like new. The truck comes complete some assembly reguied. To finish the job New wood floor. winshield. dash cover. right inner fender. and hood. Steering wheel is cracked. I will not part the truck out.
