If you are looking for a solid car to drive and restore/clone to a SS as you drive it, then you found it. Originally Capri C ream car, it is currently a shade of burgundy still with a black vinyl top. It also came with a 283 engine and a 2-Speed Powerglide Transmission, but they have been replaced with an early model 350 engine from the 70's and a 350 Turbo Transmission.Everyone wants as much car as they can get for the money. I know that. This body style is getting harder to find and when you do, a nice car will cost you big bucks. Even though it has a little pitting and discoloration, all of the chrome and stainless is on the car. The paint job (I would say) is around 5 years old or less. The brakes are power drum and it also has power steering. The body lines and gaps on this car are very impressive. The rear end is the original 10 bolt with (I'm guessing) 3.08:1 ratio. The trunk pan and floorpans are good with very little surface rust. This car originally came with a black vinyl top and has since been replaced with the same. The engine does not smoke or leake oil, but the exhaust system needs to be reworked. Also, the engine has a slight miss at highway speeds and will probably need a tune up, and the brakes are a little spongy. This car has a clear and clean Mississippi Title in my Dad's name. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction end. The balance will be due by cashier's check or wire transfer within 72 hours of completed sale.
