1981 4 speed Corvette. Matching number car.Very rare 1 year paint (Maroon Metallic L79 1,618 produced)4 speed (5,575 made)
Based on my research, there were only between 45 and 55 cars made with this paint code paired with a manual transmission. This was the only year that GM used the L79 paint code on a corvette.
Original California smog still attached. Most guys would remove this for the extra 20hp.
Car is a '20 footer' and not a showroom corvette. Car runs, drives and shifts like butter. There are small fixes that need to be made but nothing major. Please remember that this car is 38 years old..
