Car description |
---|
I am selling a rare and nicely optioned 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS
Originally Daytona Yellow
Non matching numbers 350 engine, this one runs great no noises or smoke
Turbo 350 automatic transmission, clean and looks rebuilt unsure if original, works perfectly
Factory AC, work but doesn't come out cold, goes on when hooked up at compressor
12 bolt rear, BL/1030 date code which coincides with the production date on the car (original)
Factory endura bumper
Tachometer and gauge package, all work as they should
Headlight doors don't work and missing cans, vacuum lines are still in firewall/dash
Original date coded quadrajet carb, correct for this production date
Original rear spoiler, (shorter one) correct for this production date
Original correct double fuel lines
Original correct drivers side exhaust frame bracket
Power disc brakes
Power steering
Original correct SS wheels (AO) code, possibly originallug nuts also from what I see.
Original looking hood and louvers
Original wire holes for RS reverse lights still in correct spots and untouched
Exhaust manifolds with dual stock sounding exhaust
Original air cleaner
The car was restored roughly 30 years ago and is showing it age and more, cracks in the paint, small rust holes and signs of bondo, bubbles under the vinyl top, trunk floor had a patch and a few holes in the trunk. Unsure if the vinyl is original although it could be. The car startseasily, runs and drives good yet needs some front end work, couple worn parts I'm sure. This is a rare car and deserves the attention it needs! This is an excellent example of a Camaro RS/SS with a lot of originality even though it was restored 30 years and had quarters replaced. I changed the oil/filter before driving it and shows 40psi.Please be aware that the car does look better in pictures as most do, Ialways stress that! The rear came up as a 3:07 non posi although there is a tag on one of the cover bolts, potentially a posi could've been added, I didn't check. If I had the time and space this would definitely be a part of my collection, This car has a previous registration and bill of sale as CT does not issue titles,For more information and pictures please call 203-415-8589, Thanks.
