STK 2558 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery The restorer of this very rare 1957 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery created a one-off masterpiece. We understand that GM manufactured less than 3,000 of this model in 1957, and few if any are in this condition today. This outstanding frame-off restoration was completed in 2012 and the result is a work-of-art. From any angle, the lines of the classic 150 Sedan Delivery are stunning. The Tropical Turquoise 2-stage finish is exemplary and the chrome...flawless. Extra exterior paint is included with the car. Inside, the cloth/vinyl interior is striking. Both of the reupholstered bucket seats (the passenger seat was a factory option) look original and the '150' steering wheel is right at home in front of the factory dash package. Note â€" this '57 is 'radio/clock/lighter delete'. All tinted glass is new and other features include a heater, electric wipers and a 'Holiday' drink cooler from the era that is color-coded. There is also an original 1957 'Gousha' American Highway Road map and custom 'glove fit' car cover. Many components (100's) such as hinges that were originally cadmium coated are now chrome plated. Under the hood is an early version of the famous '409' - the 348ci W-code engine. The "Turbo-Thrust" 348 is a strong motor with much more torque than the early small-blocks. Equipped with the 3x2 Rochester intake, advertised power was 350bhp and 364 lb/ft of torque. It is totally rebuilt and backed by a 700R 4-speed automatic. Exhaust is routed through a custom stainless system. As we said before, this '57 looks good from any angle, even from below. The chassis has been nicely detailed and remains virtually spotless. It incorporates a Classic Performance Products 500 Series power steering package, manual disc/drum brakes, coil-over front suspension w/sway bars and rear air shocks. The Sedan Delivery sits on a set of 18" Coys chrome spoke wheels that mount Bridgestone Potenza radials. The differential holds 3.73:1 gearing. This is an extraordinary rare '57 Chevy Sedan Delivery. Any one of us would be proud to be the next owner of this rare machine. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
