For sale:
1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
This is a project car that needs to find a new home. It has been in my shop for the past 14 years and I need to pass this on to someone that has the time to restore it. The car was running when parked 14 years ago, the only issue it had at the time was that the transmission (TH350) would not go into drive (reverse did work). Everything else worked when the car was parked including the A/C.
I had it parked outside for 2 years before moving it into my shop with the expectation of rebuilding the transmission. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the vinyl roof had caused the roof panels to rust through (see pictures).
I am a good mechanic but not a body man so I really do not want to take on the roof repair.
