Unique opportunity to get a great deal on a partially restored 1973 Chevrolet Blazer. These trucks are very hot right now as the full convertible square body was only offered from 1973- 1975.
I purchased this truck in 2016 and haven't had time to finish it so it has sat. The previous owner claimed that he owned it since 1989, and he bought with 25,000 miles and the previous owner had it sitting since 1978 because the motor locked up. He did a body off restoration on the truck, some of his photos are attached. During the restoration he claimed that he replaced all of the body panels with NOS panels, and painted the truck in a burnt orange jeep color. I can't verify his story, but from the pics you can see that it's in nice shape and did have some restoration done. Owner claimed the following specs:
I am listing this at $1500 with now reserve, knowing this truck needs some TLC and that it's as-is and all details of the truck need to be verified by the bidder. But if you want to build a nice street driven blazer, this truck would be a great starting point. A bit of cleanup and paint work, along with finishing the last 10% of the build and you would have a nice daily driver truck that would catch looks everywhere you go.
As it sits right now, the truck is not drivable. The front seats were removed and it has 2000 era silverado seats sitting there but not bolted down. The engine will crank and occasionally start, but the timing needs to be set and it could probably use a fresh carburator and new fresh gas. It's been sitting for two years. If you get it running, the shifter will engage and it will move forward and backwards under it's own power. There may be some small surface rust in a few spots of the undercarriage since it has been siting, but it has mostly been sitting inside. Paint has a few spots with cracks and bubbles, but it's very minor. There's no front grille installed, I will have to look and see if I can find it. I don't have all of the parts to finish the truck included, but you will get a bunch. Anything missing can probably be purchased from LKQ or other sources. Also, during the restoration the previous seller removed the VIN tag and lost it. I was unaware of that when I bought it, but I was able to have the state of Michiganplace a new VIN sticker on the vehicle thru their legal process, and it has a clean title.
Feel free to come look at the truck in Ann Arbor, Michigan prior to the end of the auction. a $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction.

- 3.73 gears with rebuilt warn lockouts in the front
- NP205 transfer case
- recent replaced shocks and steering stabilizer
- newer carpet
