Car description |
---|
1983 Chevrolet El Camino Choo-Choo conversion SS.
Runs, drives and stops better than when new.
The odometer shows 48k miles and the car looks that clean but I believe it flipped once.
This truck was found in an Albuquerque museum where its been sitting since 1999.
This El Camino went thru a restoration in 1996 which included:Paint350 engine350 transmissionInterior seat, carpet, door panelsExhaustWheels and tiresBlue bedlinerTonneau bed coverShocksAnd More.........
The El Camino was drove approx 10k miles after resto then put in the museum in 1999.
This is the 1st year for Choo-Choo SS conversions with 587 built. This originally was a white truck.
This is a great car if you dig that 80's/90's retro vibe. It is in great condition its not gonna win a Goodguys or Super Chevy show but may grab you a trophy at a small local show.
This is a SW Desert truck stored indoors its entire life so there is ZERO rust. One family owned this truck until the museum purchased it.
Truck was just serviced to be driven with parts and service including:Front brake pads & rotors turnedChanged fluids antifreeze, oil, transmission & filtersWiper motorPlugs, wires, cap, rotor, air cleaner & fuel filterBatteryHeadlightsWindow motors driver/passenger
All options work except AC you will either have to find the old R12 to service it or retrofit to 134a all components are present.
