1970 CHEVELLE SS454 CONVERTIBLE RESTOMOD

1970 Chevy Chevelle SS454 Convertible Restomod.
I built this car from the ground up. This is a nut and bolt, Frame-of, rotisserie restored and modified show car, or Restomod.
I restored the car as the Factory Trim tag shows - Paint 75: Cranberry Red Interior 788: Red Bucket seat interior.
The engine is an Aluminium head 454 / 450hp with an Edelbrock air gap intake and Holley 750cfm carb, lots of billet, chrome and GM hoses.Engine runs flawlessly and starts with just a touch of the key. Makes a ton of power and is street friendly but sounds wicked at idle which always draws a crowd.Car runs cool and is easy to drive. The Clutch works like a new car and transmission shifts perfectly.Ceramic coated headers into2 1/2" Dualexhaustruns out the back with correct chrome oval tips.
I tried to hide most of the wiring and spark plug wires to keep the engine compartment clean.It has a Billet March serpentine belt system with aluminium water pump, Chrome 100 amp One wire alternator and polished Sanden SD7 AC compressor.Polished Big Block 4 core aluminium radiator with correct fan shroud. It has a close out panel in front of the radiator andI also put the splash aprons on with correct staples to keep dust and dirt out of the engine compartment.
The firewall was smoothed and painted Gloss Black and the Vintage Air conditioning system was hidden out of site. The AC compressor mounts down lowunder the alternator so most people never notice the car has Air conditioning. Of course the only time i take it out is with the Top down but its nice to have AC on hot summer nights.Suspension - Large 13" Front Drilled & Slotted rotors with 12" Rotors in the rear are theSignature Series Big Brake kit. Dual diaphram chrome brake booster, 1 1/4 Front sway bar 12 Bolt Positraction rearend3.73 gears with boxed lower control arms and a rear sway bar. American Racing Forged 2 piece wheels. 18" x 8 with 245-40ZR Front 18" x 10 with 275-40ZR tires rear.
Interior is restored stock with correct '70 Red bucket seats and carpet. The Dash has been upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges which offer instant 0-60 mph times,1/4 mile times, 1/4 miletop spee, high speed recall and high RPM recall. Also, service engine, change oi, odomete, cloc, oil pressur, water temperatur, volt mete, fuel level and Low fuel level plus more.Dual USB charger's are mounted in the console for your phone.Retro Sound AM-FM ipod radio with custom Kenwood speaker kick panels.Factory original GM Dash pad and Original GM Red Bucket seat headrest are both mint condition.Cushion Grip steering wheel and Remote Driver side mirror are additional options.Muncie M-21 4-speed with Hurst competition plus shifter mounted in the center console.

Super clean under carriage is detailed throughout including New Gas tank and sending unit.This is a nut and bolt restoration and it shows ! Done to a very high level throughout.All trim was sent out and polished including the wiper arms, windshield moldings, convertible surround moldings etc.Everything on this vehicle is in working condition.AC blows Col, Horn is like a train , Wipers work, and all lights work including the interior and trunk courtesylightsThe Dakota Dash is nice and bright and easy to read. Engin, Transmission and Rearend were all professionally rebuilt. Everythingis new !
