Car description |

This truck has an incredibly clean body. It needs rocker panels and thats all! That means absolutely no rust in the roof, drip rails, door jambs, A pillars, firewall etc. There is a small rust spot about 2 inches long in the right front corner of the floor pan where it meets the inner rocker as pointed out in the picture and of course the right front fender has some rust on the bottom inside below the battery tray. these two items could be easily repaired. All of the bed components are perfectly rust free! hard to believe but its true! The wood in the bed is solid too. The truck had a tonneau cover which obviously helped preserve it. i still have all of the tonneau hardwawe. There is a battery hook up in the bed and under the hood so you can take your pick. The faded paint job looks to be from the 80's so its obvious this is an honest survivor with no hidden damage. Interior is pretty nice if you dont mind purple. All the glass is good and the windows work well, doors open and close nicely. There is an aftermarket in dash A/C system installed still hooked up and working so you would just need to install a compressor and condenser under the hood if you want to have working A/C
This was an unfinished project when I bought it about a year ago.
The Engine is a ZZ4 crate motor that had zero miles on it when I got it according to the previous owner. I am convinced that this is true. I have driven it around town for about 50 miles. It runs great! The previous owner decided to put the old school V belt system in it but I have all of the aluminum brackets, serpentine pulleys, water pump and alternator that came with the crate motor set up that goes with the truck. This was a $5000 crate motor when purchased new.
The transmission is a TH350 3 speed automatic with I'm guessing about 3000 stall speed converter. The transmission is in good working order.
The rear end is a pro stock set up 9 inch Ford narrowed with ladder bars, coil over shock suspension and adjustable wheelie bars.
The brakes have been completely redone with new shoes, master, wheel cylinders hoses etc. and it stops surprisingly well. I also have a complete front disc set up from a 71 C-10 that goes with the truck.
The front end looks like all the ball joints and other components were replaced not to long ago.
I had big plans to have a lot of fun with this truck but I have too many other projects that I need to finish and not enough room to store them all. I have kept this truck indoors since I've owned it.
The rear tires need to be replaced. I also have an original 67 C-10 steering wheel that goes with it.
If you dont like the lift off hood I have a friend here in Florida who always has a bunch of steel hoods for sale New/Used stock or cowl $200 to $350
I have a clear Florida title in my name. Personal inspections are welcomed. You can email me through ebay or call me with any questions at 954-253-4081
