Car description

1959 Impala

Available today is a stunning 1959 Impala 2 door hard top.
This is not your average restored 59.This is a PROFESSIONALLY built car. It receiveda nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Nothing on this car was left untouched. It was finished to a very high level, and has no expense spared.
Countless hours were spent getting this car to where it is today. Lots of attention to detail throughout every inch of the car. Excellent quality craftsmanshipand parts / materialsused throughout the build. Everything on this car is new, rebuilt, or restored. Lots of upgrades were made to make it look and perform far better than it would have in 59.
It needs nothing, and is ready for someoneto enjoy. The bugs have been worked out, the money and time spent, it runs, drives, and performs excellent!
This 59 has power steering, tilt wheel, 4 wheel disc brakes, lots of suspension upgrades, and more.
This was an extremely solid original metal car to start with. Having a good car to start with makes a big difference in the finished product. This car has original floors, trunk pan, quarters, and sheet metal. No signs of panel replacement anywhere! It has never been cut or welded on! That is hard to find.
The paint and bodywork on the car are extremely nice!!! Lots and lots of time were spent blocking and prepping the car and it shows. The car is laser straight! The jambs, firewall, inside metal, etc were all refinished to a high level. The car was completely disassembledwhen it was painted. There is no shrinkage, no blistering, no touch up, no rock chips. The car just had 80 hours of color sanding and polishing. The paint is extremely slick and looks incredible. All the panels fit well and gaps are very nice.
The car is powered by a nicely built 408 big block. The car makes a lot of power, but is still totally drivable and reliable. It has a thumper cam and sounds incredible. It runs cool, has good compression, maintains good oil pressure, and performs excellent. It make roughly 475hp. It fires right up and doesn'tmiss a beat. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed that shifts nice, the clutch feels good, and tranny makes no noise.
Under the hood you will find no lack of attention to detail. Lots and lots of time and money spent in the engine compartment. All new stainless hardware. Every hose is black braided. All heat shrink hose clamps used. All black AN fittings used. Everything is routed nicely. All the wiring is ran through cloth braided loom. The block was painted black. It has black powdercoated billet valve covers and breathers. A black dual snorkel air cleaner with chrome cross flags. It has a chromeEdlebrock Endurashinecarburetor and chrome intake. The headers are chrome. A billet front accessorydrive and serpentine setup was installed. The hood hinges were restored. The wiper motor was upgraded to a Newport Engineering cleanwipe setup. The cooling system was upgraded to a aluminum radiator made to look factory, and painted black. An electric fan was installed.
The entire braking system was upgraded to 4 wheel disc, using all high quality components. The car has a Wilwood polished master cylinder, all stainless lines, Wilwood brakes, new hoses, new drop spindles.
Mechanically, everything is new. Every bearing, bushing, hose, line, seal, clip, screw, etc. Its all new. And all been upgraded.
The car has working e brake, wipers, horn, dash lights, gauges, warning indicators, heat, speedo, etc. Everything works, and works properly.
Everything on the interior is new and was nicely done. The dash was stripped and painted base coat / clear coat. An Ididit tilt column was added. The original steering wheel was restored. The gauges were completely restored and look and work excellent. Seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, etc were all redone.
All new glass, felts, seals, and rubbers.
The brightwork on the car is beautiful. Is has all been restored and is all original to the car. All the stainless and aluminum was straightened and polished. The front and rear bumpers are fresh triplechrome plated. The headlight bezels, taillight bezels, and grill have also been chrome plated (they would have been anodized from the factory). Window frames rechromed, emblems, door handles, fender ornaments, mirror, etc have been restored.

The wheels are 2 Piece Billets, made by Intro. They are 19x8 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. They are wrapped in BF Goodrich G force tires.
The car has a fully adjustable air ride suspension. An Accuair controller lets the driver change ride height on the fly. It is all bolt on, nothing cut or modified.
Tubular upper and lower control arms in the front and tubular trailing arms in the rear. They were shot in silver base coat / clear coat.
As you can see, the underside of this 59 is as clean as the top. lots of attention to detail. The bottom side of the floors were shot in red oxide. The chassis was finished in gloss black. None of the hardware is painted over.
Overall, this is a bad ass car that needs nothing. Look at what an average restored 59 2 door hard top brings, and look at all the time and money spent on this car, you will find you would be hard pressed to build one of this caliber for the money.
