My other ebay account got hacked about 6 mths ago and I was never able to recover my incredible feed back, so today I'm using my buying account to sell. I'm very well know thru out the custom bagged patina truck world, but please feel free to research me if you are in any doubt. My name is Eddie known as MIAYOTA. I'm a Senior Sales Manager at Toyota Of North Miami, were I've been for 20 years. My only job ever, so you can rest assure this is as legit as it gets.
History on "EL Gordo"
This truck was left to die in a field for decades where it the most bad ass on point Patina Job from the tender touch of Mother Nature. Rewind back to 2014 (5 years ago) I got the urge to build a unique Patina Truck so I called my buddy Dean in NC and asked him to build me a bad ass unique mega wide fender truck. Dean, did his due diligence and found " EL Gordo" in a field near his home and sent me picks of it. The truck was completely trashed and it had gotten it's fair share of bullet holes, and broken glass. I saw beyond that appearance and decided to make this happened as 47-53 Trucks are very common so that's why I decided to make this 1954 something special and uncommon. The build lasted 6mths, once it was done I brought it to my hometown Miami and I drove it quite regularly. After about 6 mths I decided to sell it and build myself another truck. It was sold on eBay to the highest bidder for $24,000. The winner loved the truck and even took it twice on a hotrod powertour thru the lower southeast states.
(FASTFOWARD 5 YEARS) I got a phone the old man saying he was going thru some rough times and asked if I would buy it back. I immediately jump on the offer as this truck was one of my old time favorites. Now, I've had it back at home for about 7 mths, and I'm happy to say it's one of the most reliable trucks I've ever own. It still attracts a crowd better than any $100K car you park next to it. I'm gonna sell it because I have alot of cars and I simply don't have the room for it, so I rather someone else enjoy it instead of it just sitting.
