1963 Corvette convertible. Let me start off by saying if you are looking for an all-original rare-barn-find corvette, this is not the car for you. Very beautiful C2, has non-original 350 V-8 with correct GM aluminum intake. 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst competition shifter. 4-wheel manual drum brakes, non-power steering. Serviced the full brake system, engine tune up, MSD ignition system with gear-drive distributor, oil change, fluid flush and air cleaner this month. Body is very nice and the black paint is excellent (originally silver from the factory in 63) car was tastefully refurbished to a nice driver. Headlights work correctly, all marker lights, blinkers and interior lights function properly. Cooling system, brake system, electrical charging systems all function properly. Car drives very well, starts every time, drives straight and sounds good, suspension is stock setup and handles as it should. Tires are 85% tread remaining, 63 hubcaps shine but have some pitting and edge-dents. Nice black convertible top, windows roll-up properly. All gauges work properly except for the fuel gauge (needs a sending unit.) I have a set of original GM hood pans (cookie sheets) that sell with the car. Chrome bumpers are nice driver quality, some dulling on the top-side (see pics) and some pitting on the underside. This is a nice driver quality corvette that should only appreciate in value. This corvette has a clear Texas title and is located in Santa Fe, Texas (about 20 miles south of Houston.) Buyer is responsible for any/all preparation and shipping expenses.
