Up for sale with NO Reserve is a custom 1987 Chevy G30 Cutaway van with. This has been one of the coolest vans I have owned and will make someone a great work truck, camper, future show van, marketing van..... you name it! it can do it all.
The van is in overall fair condition. It is mechanically sound and road worthy, but to make it really stand out it could use some body work and a good paint job. It has true duel exhaust, a new radiator, new brake master cylinder, fresh fluids, and plugs & wires.
The van gets a ton of attention with the Peterbilt cabin sitting on the frame. The cabin is fully functional with a side door, electric hook up, two closets, storage, and a twin size hospital mattress.
The van also has a trailer hitch with lighting connection.
I have driven the van mostly around town. I did purchase the van about 100 miles from my current location and it drove just fine on the way home. It does have a three speed auto that drives comfortably at 60 mph. Heat and A.C work. Cruise Control works, Speed ohmmeter works, fuel gauge works, Radio sounds great!
A few things that the van needs: Temp gauge, and oil pressure gauge are not working. I have never had any trouble with overheating or engine trouble so I have not worried about it. The brown carpet in the photos was removed this week so the front cab with the seats does not have carpet. The paint on the van is pretty bad. Its a great 10 footer but when you get close you can tell it was a very bad spray job. If you hit it with a high powered pressure washer it starts to flake off. I have had estimates from $900 all the way up to $3600 for the body work.
Photos of the van are from 12.27.18
