Up for auction is my 1965 c10. This truck has been through a rigorous 4 year frame off nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. It has just recently been finished. It started out as a low mile, basically 1 owner Chevy (1st owner bought in October of 1965 and traded back in in December same year) and was taken down to a bare frame, then started from there. All the factory markings were identified and reproduced. The only rust on the truck was on the rocker panels, and cab corners, both were replaced. The cab was turned over and all factory undercoat was removed, fresh red oxide primer was sprayed and new undercoat was applied before rejoining the completely rebuilt chassis. Photos were taken of the entire process. Both the engine and transmission have been gone through and are in new condition. As of now there has been less than 100 miles put on the odometer since completion. All the bright work is new, all the rubber parts are new, all suspension/braking components are new and have been put back to 1965 standards. Painted back it's factory color color combo, (472 two tone black/white) then polished to a brilliant shine. All the glass is in excellent condition and has all new rubbers, and window felts. The doors close better than they did in 1965. All the body panels were adjusted for an excellent fit and finish. Reproduction decals were installed in locations where they came from originally. 5 new whitewall radials. The truck runs/drives/stops like new. No squeaks or rattles. The underside of this truck shows as well as the top side. This is as close to a brand new 1965 c10 as I've ever seen. No expense was spared in the build. Comes with its original owners manual and protect-o-plate also has the bill of sale from January 1966. Originally was going to build a street rod but this truck was too original and solid to change. Was bought new locally and has always been a MS trucck. Not saying it's "perfect " but it is without a doubt in higher quality than when it was new. It does NOT take a bad picture, eBay only allows 24 picture, but more are available.
