Clean and Mean. That's what this truck is. While the clean body lines of a regular '89 Silverado look good, it takes a lot of time and money to make them look this good. And the best part is, the body is just the beginning. The interior saw its share of customizing too and the engine has the mean part covered quite effectively. Check it out. Not sure what you will notice first from a distance. It will either be that its lower, or its higher. The whole truck sits lower and has an aggressive stance with big staggered wheels tucked up into those fender wells. But that cowl induction hood is definitely higher than it was to start with, kind of like they lowered the rest of the truck around it by 3 inches. Either way you look at it, it looks sweet in its custom Black paint with a Blue and Silver pin stripe painted and clear coated on along the top edge of the body line. Up front a custom chrome grill and bumper lead the way with a blue Chevy bowtie in the center, followed by door handles that were shaved to keep the look spotlessly clean and a tailgate that received a shave too, moving the gate latch to the inside of the bed, replacing it with a gold bowtie, and flanking it with Cadillac taillights. Open the door and you will find that plenty of time was invested into customizing the interior too. The door panel sets the tone in Gray with its pleated center panel and billet door pull surrounded by smooth vinyl with horizontal accent lines top and bottom. The comfortable bench seat gets the same treatment with a floating console mounted in the middle. There is plenty of billet in the dash starting with the steering wheel mounted on a tilt column which sits in front of a shaved dash with billet vents directing the air flow for the heat and A/C. A tall Lokar shifter rises out of the floor and the passenger side of the dash has Chevrolet in script riveted on. The power window switches are uniquely mounted on the ceiling and there is a hidden FM/CD and iPod compatible stereo that pumps the sound out through dual Rockford Fosgate amps with subs and Infinity speakers for your listening pleasure. Pop the hood and the show continues. There you will find a 5.3 liter V8 nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. The Chevrolet orange MSD Airflow intake jumps right out at you and is complemented by polished coil packs as well as A/C compressor and receiver dryer. Everything is connected with a Painless Wiring harness kit and a Trailblazer SS ECU with a Vengence racing program calls the shots while an aluminum radiator keeps things running cool. Hedman ceramic coated headers weave their way out the bottom to a 2.5" stainless exhaust and a new master cylinder and booster puts the clamps on drilled and slotted front rotors. Power flows back through a 4-speed automatic transmission and a BellTech suspension system lowers the truck down making it handle like a dream. The rubber meets the road through 275/55R20s in the rear and 235/60 R18s in the front mounted on those sweet looking REV chrome wheels. Think this truck is pretty awesome? So did the judges at the 2016 LSFest who voted it Best Muscle Truck. Come on down and check it out for yourself. You might decide that it's the best muscle truck for you and take it home.
