This 1936 Chevy Low Cab pickup is a fairly rare find....You don't see a lot of them for sale, and the ones that are usually are all original, or really expensive hot rods....This one is a Hot Rod and is more affordable than most. The truck is a blast to drive, and has a great look to it.

IF YOU WOULD RATHER TALK THAN TYPE, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME: CRAIG: (217) 779-6309
This pickup still has the original frame under it, but it has been hot-rodded with the following:
Speedway tubular front drop axle with disc brake setup
Vega steering box with cross-steer setup
Tilt steering column
305 V8 Chevy with a 4bbl carburetor and HEI ignition
Turbo 350 (TH350) 3 speed automatic transmission
'55 Chevy rearend - happy at 55MPH - would need re-geared for interstate use
Dual exhaust with turbo mufflers
Chevy Rally wheels
Stainless fuel tank mounted under bed of truck
Truck is all Chevy steel, and runs and drives fine just like it is....Needs nothing to be a fun cruiser. Truck was originally built in the 80's and brought out of storage a couple of years ago and then updated and put back on the street. If you are looking for a perfect paint show truck, this isn't it. If you live in an area that has inspections, you will need to add wipers / turn signals / horn / ??. If this is beyond your job scope, this probably isn't the truck for you. Please note that the paint on the hood has been primered over in areas as the paint was peeling and the metal below needed some protection from the elements. The paint on this truck is what it is....It has chips / cracks / etc.. Again if you are into pretty paint, this isn't your truck. If you want a cool cruiser, this may be it. The gauges in the truck don't work, they could possibly be made to, but for right now they are just for looks.
The underside of the truck is surprisingly solid for such an old truck (see pics).......The body is pretty much stock, other than the spare tire well on the one running board was filled in years ago.
