Neat and clean in White with splashes of chrome, this is a great looking Silverado. The mid-70s pickups are more popular than ever these days. They have modern classic styling, drive well, and are capable of getting the job done without a pile of computers complicating things. Check this one out. The crisp clean body lines of this pickup are a great starting point for the look of this truck. From the side you see a crease running down the mid-line from front to rear. That is paralleled by the top line of the fender that flows cleanly along the top of the door and then the bed. It gives the truck a really solid look. There is a Silverado badge on the fender and a splash of chrome trim around the wheel wells. Up front a chrome billet grill of horizontal lines keeps the look clean and is underlined by a simple bumper. The cowl induction hood hints at the beast within, but does so without screaming it out with a bunch of stripes or lettering. Things are kept equally simple and clean out back in white and chrome and the bed has been coated with spray in bed liner. Complementing the look are 5-lug Eagle polished alloy wheels. Open the door and you will find a stock interior that is a comfortable place to put some miles in or get some work done. The door panel has controls at your fingertips for the power windows and locks along with a comfortable armrest for cruising down the road. A 4-spoke steering wheel mounted on a tilt column with the shifter for the automatic transmission sits in front of a stock dashboard. The tach and speedo are front and center with the fuel, temp, oil and voltage gauges off to the left. Ventilation controls, including those for the updated R134 air conditioning to keep you cool are in the center. A Kenwood stereo is there for your listening pleasure and there is a sliding back window. The cloth bench seat is comfortable with plenty of room for three across with the shifter being mounted on the column. Pop the hood with the big cowl induction bump on it and you will find a very healthy, 454 cubic inch, big block. There is a chrome air cleaner topping an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake manifold. Those 454 valve covers nestled under the alternator and A/C compressor shine through because they are polished up chrome, and because big block valve covers are huge. There is a new brake booster and master cylinder along with a new battery and newer belts and hoses. Long tube headers get the exhaust heading back through glass pack style muffler that give the truck a healthy sound and the power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. Front disc brakes provide good stopping ability and the rubber meets the road through 255/70R15 tires all around mounted on those great looking Ridler wheels. Neat, clean, comfortable, and more than capable with a healthy 454 under the hood. Come on down and check out this Silverado.
