This Chevelle is packing some serious attitude! It's a great looking, ground pounding, big block muscle car that will draw attention wherever it goes. And wherever it goes, it can get there fast! Check it out. Considered by many to be the best-looking muscle car of all time, the 1969 Chevelle has smooth, graceful curves that flow down the length of the car. The look will never go out of style. This car is a classic shade of Blue with bold White SS stripes which are always a good look on a muscle car. It also has a wicked stance that says this car means business. There is a black SS grill with quad headlights and a nice chrome bumper. A cowl induction hood makes for an intimidating view from the front or the side. There are SS emblems on the front fenders along with chrome moldings on the wheel wells and Chevelle in script on the hood and trunk. The back bumper has two large oval exhaust tips peeking out from underneath it hinting at the kind of engine that needs an exhaust system with that much flow. Open the door and you are greeted by a sharp looking SS door panel. It has horizontal pleats with chrome piping and an SS badge at the top center. The high back bucket seats are nicely reupholstered in black vinyl and have chrome piping around the edges of the bottom and back. It's a nice seat to strap into for some serious business. And business is what the rest of this interior is about. There is a beefy four-spoke steering wheel mounted on a tilt column to hang on to. Behind it is a dash panel that has had the stock gauges replaced with white faced Autometer C2 gauges that are easy to see and read under pressure. The speedo is on the right, the tach on the left, with fuel, voltage, water temp and oil pressure on the sides. A horseshoe shifter is set in the center console for the automatic transmission and there is an AM/FM radio if you want to listen to more than the awesome sounds the engine makes. And the sounds that the engine makes can be felt as much as heard. It is a 572 cubic inch crate motor pumping out over 621 horsepower and 645-foot pounds of torque. An aluminum dome top air filter has a red bowtie and Chevrolet embossed into. It feeds fresh air from that the cowl induction hood to a 4-barrel carburetor and a high-rise manifold. Massive red valve covers sit on top of aluminum heads and announce that it is a 572 Chevrolet motor. Long tube headers wind out the bottom to a 3" stainless dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers that try to keep the sound of the thunder down to reasonable levels. An aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps the temperatures under control. A THM700R4 TCI trans rated for up to 650 hp gets the power back to a 12 bolt posi rear with a Moser aluminum cover and 3.73 gears. There are power 4-wheel disc brakes to haul it back down from speed and the rubber meets the road through 245/60/R15 tires mounted on 15" rally wheels. This car is a blast to drive! It runs strong with 572 cubic inches of ground pounding thunder under the hood and has the classic good looks of a Chevelle too. What are you waiting for? Come on down and check this car out.
