You're looking at a heck of a lot of car for the money. This very affordable 1974 Chevrolet Corvette has a powerful appearance, the freedom of a droptop, an upgraded interior, and the unmistakable exhaust rumble that comes from a lot of money invested into a fuel-injected small block. This Stingray looks fast standing still. The factory-correct code 14 Silver Mist looks quite modern. It's especially true because there was a big investment recently in a modern professional respray. That's particularly special on this one, because '74 was the debut of the urethane bumpers front and rear. These gave the C3 an appearance of one long continuous wave, and so the clearcoat shine really highlights this work of art. Also, keen eyes will notice the sought-after features like the luggage rack and two-piece rear end â€" an exclusive element for the '74 cars. But this convertible is also far from stock. It gives an instant performance-minded first impression with upgrades like the side pipes and extra tall cowl hood. While the black convertible roof does a nice job coordinating with the silver exterior, this one looks even better with the top down showcasing the full silver package inside and out. The interior has a nice balance of premium and sporty, and you see it with features like the high-back bucket seats, padded armrest, and wood-like trim on the doors and center console. As the driver, you get a three-spoke sports steering wheel. Just ahead of that is the large speedometer, and just to the side are a full set of auxiliary readouts. Plus, there's a SunPro tach mounted in the cowl hood to keep it central and at eye-level â€" just like a racecar. This has a ton of great comfort features like the power windows, tilt steering column, and upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner. You even have modern R134a air conditioning. Everything so far has been about a showcasing a cool 'Vette, but what will make you want to grab this one immediately is when you sneak a peek at the engine bay. This is a Chevy 350 cubic-inch motor with a marine-grade Mastercraft MCX fuel injection on top. So not only do you get a cool car with the large cowl hood, but when you lift it at car shows, it also has a unique powerplant to showcase. It looks great with its polished red presentation, but it also has all the right supporting components. This includes upgraded pulleys and a DeWitts aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Plus, there's a great set of Hooker headers that feed the growling side pipes. This is a terrific performance motor, and it's paired with the Corvette's excellent fully independent suspension. But a great backroads machine is not this car's whole story. It's a great all-around classic with nice cruising features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. This is a unique C3 convertible offered at a terrific price. But since there is only one up for grabs, you may want to hurry up before it's gone. Call today!!!
