1951 Chevrolet deluxe "tin woody"station wagon.original 6 cylinder 3 speed on the column.awesome car, part of a collection of classics owned by a springfield ohio collector/dealer.he had 2 of these.one restored, but never touched this one.came from witchta Kansas around 93.stored in climate control till now.i am offering this one time opportunity to own this car before anything is done to it.long time storage.cleaned fuel tank, replaced fuel pump, started right up.sounds great, yard drives, but left rear wheel cylinder is leaking.the second time it was started it did smoke a little when started[probably needs valve seals].very solid and straight but does have floor/rocker issues, mostly in the middle, nos rocker ends in front of rear tire included],front bench seat needs recovered, car was repainted same color back in the 90s and is now getting some patina on it.in fact,it has patina all over it[small dings, scratches, etc],couple of the side glasses have cracks.the 2 rear glasses are sliding, there is wood trim all over the inside, most in good condition except for the plywood door panels, lights work, turn signals work, wipers work, decent tires, rings and pie pan caps.frame/chassis is very nice, spare tire pan in back is solid, all doors and hood open and shut solidly and nice[door gaps are good],car is far from perfect but has the patina some people want or this would be a very nice car to throw a surfboard in the back and go to the beach or do a complete resto and slam it.more pictures available.sold as-is.please ask any and all questions prior to bidding, would prefer inspection prior to purchase.can stay stored inside up to 30 days for free.may be able to be driven a long distance but has not been tested on the highway.recommend complete inspection/servicing prior to driving.$500.00 pay pal deposit required within 3 days, balance paid cash within 7 days.
