Car description |
---|
Time has come for me to part with my project. Quite a bit has been done, but it needs a winters worth of work to get road ready. I have two of these and just need to focus on 1. I just don't have the time to finish and need the space.
I never cared much for the "show" part. When I drive to cruise nights I let the kids hop in and rev the motor, lean on it for pictures, whatever. I didn't wash it for the pictures. I rolled it out of the garage, drove it around the block(with no brakes). Think of it more like a HotRod garage car. I wanted a car that could kinda sorta take some turns as well as take a straight line.
I'll give what details I can, but keep in mind this is still in project status. It's not driving anywhere, or, you could drive it, but you arent stopping. I'll list out what was done, look at the pics, ask what you need. The pictures are from random times while it was being worked on.
Strong running 400 small block.

12 Bolt Posi Rear
New Things:
Stainless Headers
Flowmasters
Aluminum Radiator
B&M Star Ratchet Shifter. Originally a column moved to the floor
Billet Distributor/Plugs/Wires
BFG Tires all the way around. Have about 5 miles on them
4 Wheel Power Disc Brake Conversion. (One fitting has a leak, need a looking at, needs lines blead)
Front: UMI Performance Tubular Upper and Lower Control arms with adjustable sway bar links
Upper and Lower Ball Joints
Tie Rod ends
Rear: UMI Performance Upper and Lower control arms
Brand new axle shafts with brand new studs, bearings and seals.
New KYB Shocks all around
Eibach lowering springs all the way around.
Seat Belts and hardware
Carpets
Floor insulation
Body Mount bushings and hardware
Front and Rear Bumpers(Front isn't on, but still wrapped and will be included)
Front inner fender wells
New Battery, (less than 6 months)
Brand new grill
Headlight Bezels
Fuel tank/Straps/Sender/Fuel Pump. I haven't really kept any fuel in it, just enough to prime the pump and run it for a few minutes. Few hits with starter fluid and fires right up. I have a video of it running I will try to include.
When I bought the car it had rust in the floor and the braces weren't great. Rather than patching everything, the entire floor and inner rockers were replaced from the toe board to the trunk. All body bushings and hardware were replaced. The underneath is solid as you can see in the pictures and basically new.
Dash is clean and uncut. Seats were redone at some point and have no rips or holes. They slide on rails and tilt.
Rear quarters and paint were done before I purchased it. The paint is weak and has taken some scuffs over the years in my garage. I was just going to primer the whole thing and drive like that.
It needs a headliner (the bows are all still there). I think I have a headliner still wrapped up that I will throw in if I can find it. I have other random parts I will throw in if I can find them.
Please know you are not buying a new car. It's a hotrod project that's already had much of the hard work done. I am not happy with myself for parting with it, but it is what it is.
Please, do not bid if you don't know what you are getting in to. Don't ghost me. If you have less than 10+ feedback I will cancel your order. If you have negative purchasing history, I will cancel your order. I don't need the money, and need the hassle much less.
Shipping/Pickup is the purchasers responsibility.
