1966 CHEVROLET STATION WAGON. this car is a roller. no engine, no transmission. did have a 427 big block chevrolet engine and a TH400 automatic transmission. car still has the driveshaft with the correct TH400 front yoke, has a 12 bolt rear end, big block ps pump/bracket, an assortment of gauges, big block headers with a complete front to back dual exhaust system and very nice wheels/tires. (I will be keeping the MSD ignition system). I did drive this car before the big block was removed. drove straight. steering was tight, brakes are right there. brake master cylinder has been upgraded. car didn't have any shakes or vibrations. does have some new and upgraded suspension parts. paint is approximately 20 years old but still looks good and shines. body is showing some previous repair on the bottom of left rear quarter panel and right fender lower rear heel. couple other little spots here and there but overall the body, floors, frame, firewall, roof, etc...are all in very good condition. trim, bumpers, glass are also very nice for the year. appears this wagon is a belair with impala front end parts and pieces. does not have the third seat. interior is custom and is also in decent shape. there is no headliner. clean NYS registration. can be seen and inspected by appointment and I encourage potential bidders to stop in and look this wagon over in person. not kidding when I tell you that if you have an engine and transmission you could be driving this car with minimal effort. this is a no reserve auction...however, the wagon is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell.
