Car description

1968 Camaro with a Motown World products 421 c.i. stroker engine approximately 625hp. Dart aluminum heads. Edelbrock intake, Proform 4 barrel carb, Hooker super competition light weight aluminized 1 7/8" headers. Turbo 400 transmission that has a reverse manual valve body with 3k stall. New aluminum radiator with large trans cooler and 2 electric cooling fans, new gas tank. Front has disc brakes with tubular upper and lower control arms and adjustable coil overs. Sub frame connectors. Rear is a 9" with drum brakes and four link. Has a steel 4" cowl hood on a straight body 18x10 rear 17x8 front wheels. Has new door panels, new stainless window trim front and rear, new stainless door trim, new rubber weather stripping. New headliner, leather seats (original recovered), new steering wheel. Dash pad is new and carpet. Over $50K invested.

Here's the deal. I bought the car about 4 years ago. I paid $20K for an unfinished project. It was painted. It turned out the paint was bad (peeled off in sheets) and the rust repair was shotty. I stripped the car to metal and had it professionally fixed and painted. The interior was completely redone (the dash pad is new, the bezel is new, but the gauges are original). New carpet and stock seats were redone. The gauges may want to be changed to new gauges. I didn't do it. The car is a beast. It has a turbo 400 with a stall converter. I'm mid 50's and like overdrive. Car is not for me. My eyes were bigger..... The car is in very good condition. It may need some minor tweaking (ride height, gauges), but just very small things. The ride height is fully adjustable. I like them low. This car is crazy fast. The mechanic believes it is a 10 second car on the drag strip. I don't have the guts to do that. I will clean car up this weekend and post more pictures.
