North Carolina Truck for Sale!
I am listing my 1970 Chevrolet C-10Shortbed Stepside. This truck was originally a State owned vehicle. It is a 6 cylinder - 3 speed on the column. One Family owned after the state placed it back into civilian use. It has been titled in the same owner's name for the last 31 years. I have that original open title and it is included in the sale. The truck was originally state yellow and appears to have had one blue paint job many years ago. It is overall very solid and has the usual rust in the cab corners and door corners. It has had new bed stepsreplaced at some time. I havenot performed any maintenance or repair to the truck so far. It isjust as I discovered it. It would be the perfect Project for a Father/Son (Daughter) to start with. Virtually every piece of this vehicle is available today in the aftermarket. I have included pictures to show all of the areas that need attention. The engine will turn over and hit but should have thecarburetor gone through and the fuel lines as well. It will also need a brake system overhaul. The cab mounts are solid and the doors open and close tight. Overall the truck is a great canvas and will only beworth more and more with each thing you do to it. This is going to make someone a sweet little truck! Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
I require a $500 non-refundable deposit from the winning bidder at the auction's end. The balance of the purchase price within 7 days of the close of the auction -- I prefer cash at the time of pickup but can accept funds throughPayPal if you are unable to pick it up. Shipping is not included in the sale and is the buyer's responsibility. I can have the truck delivered at a rate of $2.00 per loaded mile from ZIP 28117 or help your shipper load the vehicle.
