Hello folks, Up for auction is one of the nicest 1964 Super Sport Chevelle's on Ebay. This is a factory Code #58 SS V8 Chevelle, and has 71,000 original miles! It is a California car, and was manufactured at the Van Nuys, California plant. In short, the car has never left dry climate sunny California. This is a rust free car that has been garaged its entire life. The partial VIN is as follows: 4 (1964, 58 (Malibu Super Sport, 8 cylinder) 37 (Two door sport coupe) L (Van Nuys, California assembly plant). As you can see in the pictures, this Chevelle still retains its original black plates from 1964. The plates have been restored, and are registered to the car.
The paint and body work on this car is flawless. It was professionally done in Urethane two stage - base coat - clear coat. After it was sprayed, the car was then wet sanded and buffed to an ultra smooth finish. The color is Daytona Blue metallic, shines vibrant in the sun, and is dark at night. The upholstery is black, with factory bucket seats, console, and has aftermarket Attometer gauge, including tachometer. The interior is in perfect condition, and has brand new loop nylon carpet.
Under the hood of this beauty sits a VERY potent 383 stroker small block Chevy engine with 450 horsepower. The machine work is extensive, and is literally a work of art. All ARP bolts were used, and the internals are balanced. The pistons are TRW forged aluminum . The heads are aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM. It has roller rockers, stainless valves, and everything is port matched to an Edelbrock intake. A Comp "Thumper" flat tappet hydraulic Camshaft with 479 lift, sounds aggressive, and performs extremely well. Dual roller timing chain, Hooker Headers, Mallory HEI distributor, 650 Edelbrock carburetor. The engine is extremely responsive, and best described to be "snappy". Everything is polished or chrome plated. Connected to the headers are 3 inch exhaust pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers. Exhaust exits out of the rear bumper. The transmission is a 700R, is rebuilt, and shifts perfect. The rear differential is the original GM with 3.55 gears. The drivetrain is very dependable, fast, yet still gets 20 miles to the gallon.
The car has Power Steering, and Power Disc brakes. A 4 row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans insure that the engines operates at normal operating temperature.205x75x14 Coker Classics redline radial tires give the car a factory Muscle Car look, but the ride of a new car. Steel wheels are mounted on the tires, and a set of factory Chevrolet Mag type hub caps complete the look.
The car has new suspension, including shocks and springs. underneath, a brand new gas tank insures no leaks, as well as looks sanitary. The inside of the trunk is ultra clean, and was restored with factory grey and white zolatone "trunk splatter" paint. An original rubber floor mat sets on the floor of the trunk, and a brand new Cocker redline spare is mounted to a Magnum chrome wheel.
The car is flawless in every way. The chrome is new, and shines like the sun. There is over $40,000 in the build of this Chevelle, but we are willing to let it go at a fraction of that investment. Partial trades are considered, too. My wife wants to move on to something else. Her taste is like mine, pretty vast, so if you have something interesting please let us know. I will gladly ship this anywhere in the world. I know of two very reputable transport/shipping companies. Buyer pays for shipping, and I will see to it that the vehicle arrives in a safe and prompt manner. Due to other advertisements, I reserve the right to end auction at any time. If you love what you see, please contact us day or evening at 909-437-2068. Thank you, and have a wonderful day. Alex
