This car was ordered in the Ruby Red Metallic paint with matching Ruby Red Convertible Top & Ruby Red Interior. The Ruby Red Anniversary cars also received special badging and 40th Anniversary embroidered seats. Out of the 22. 58 Corvettes produced in 1993. only 5. 12 were convertibles. There were only 2. 71 convertibles that were the Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Edition. this is one of those Corvettes. This example has been repainted in its original color. The paint is in driver quality condition with some flaws on closer inspection. The mechanicals are strong and the interior is in very good condition. Look closely and you will find some paint stress marks on the rear tail light panel and some on the hood. Otherwise. the paint shows well throughout. The following couple of photos are close-ups of the major paint flaws. The interior is the original Ruby Red leather upholstery in excellent throughout. The dash displays all working instrumentation and is clean and detailed. The power seats are functional as are the windows and door locks. The air conditioning blows cold and the heat blows hot. The door panels are also original and in very good condition. The wheels are the factory 17-inch alloys fitted with recent 255/45ZR17 Fuzion ZR radials all around. The Ruby Red convertible soft top is in excellent condition. seldom used. The engine is the original stout LT-1 350 cubic inch V8 rated at 300 horsepower & 340 ft-lbs of torque. This powerplant is paired with the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission. The mechanicals are excellent with this Corvette.
