I have 1 of the less than 90 1993 corvettes produced with both the Z25 anniversary package as well the ZO7 upgraded suspension packages, this car is loaded with every performance option you could get in an LT1 powered corvette. I photoed the RPO tag so you can confirm what I'm saying. I purchased this car in the spring as my second choice to a 96 collectors edition that I have since found. I purchased this car from a rather ill person who had it sitting in storage for 5 years due to his health. The car has had some recent work performed to it to make it road worthy again as well as some work performed just before it was parked that was important to me. First the optispark, plugs, wires, coil and water pump were replaced before the car was put in storage, I have flushed the fuel system and changed the fluids except coolant because that was done with the water pump, I have serviced the brakes at all 4 corner, I rebuilt 1 half shaft, changed all the filters, installed a new alternator and belt. The car runs very well and has plenty of power still, the ZF 6 speed shifts well and the clutch feels good, the rear has 3.42 gearing and makes no noise. It has some kind of aftermarket mufflers and an x pipe on it with a decent sound to them. The interior is ok but does have the typical wear on the seat bolsters and secondly when I purchased this car it did have mice in it and they chewed a hole in the shift boot but this car still retains all its original embroidered mats and seats. The interior has been removed and cleaned but every once in awhile you can still smell it, though not horrible. The body Though it photos ok I would plan on painting it as it has a flaw on every panel In the form of a scratch, bubble or chip (I was planning on a cosmetic restoration and have already purchased 1 gallon of ppg base coat I will include), I have put 2,000 miles on this car over the summer with no major problems and would say mechanically this car is in decent mechanical condition and could be used as is or like me if your into the rarity of the production numbers and are handy this is a very good cosmetic restoration candidate for the winter. Here are the things it needs, e brake handle has a broken tooth, air may or may not work (no charge in it) the service ride control light is on for a broken shock selector gear and the weatherstripping has seen better days. I'm very aware this car is no where near perfect but due to its very limited combination of options in my opinion it is a very good car to work with and my price reflects that, I have been dealing in and restoring corvettes for over 25 years as either my proffesion or hobby and would recommend contacting me if you are interested as I stride my self on making sure people know exactly what they are buying.
