We have a nice 1994 Chevy K2500 truck with the 6.5 turbo diesel engine. We had to upgrade to a crew cab truck to seat more people, otherwise we would keep this. We've driven it to Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, California, Colorado, Nevada and never had problems. Starts and runs great, batteries are good. Has the 4L80E transmission with over drive, 4x4, air conditioning, receiver hitch for towing, wired for a tekonsha brake controller (just plugs in, moved ours to the new truck, not included). Has a metal utility bed on it with sliding top sliding cover that locks. All compartment doors lock and have keys. Inside the bed is about 50-52 inches wide so you can lay down plywood and sheet rock. Bed has a ladder rack on it that's removable. Would be a great truck for a handyman, contractor, mechanic, plumber, electrician, property management, etc. I bought it surplus from the air force about 8 years ago where it had been a telephone maintenance truck at Hill AFB, they routinely serviced it and maintained it. I'm including their maintenance records as well as the original unused set of keys. I have a clean Utah title for it. Has only 88678 miles on it (might vary as I still drive it), barely even broken in for a diesel. I've gone through and upgraded some of the usual things on the 6.5 like I replaced and remote mounted the PMD on a heatsink to reduce risk of heat failure, I replaced the harmonic balancer, pitman arm, idler arm, new A/C compressor and dryer/ flushed system, brakes, rear shocks, etc. The only thing I can think of with the truck is that the fuel gauge reads fine until it gets down to about 2/3 then pegs out at full until it gets down a little lower then it works again. I got used to it and never had a problem or ran out of fuel so I never replaced the sender. Has an AM FM stereo, but you can get a bracket to install an aftermarket if you want to. I could never get the time to set on the radio, but I may not have known how to do it. The paint is typical for a 90s chevy (see pictures), box has some rust but overall the body is in functional shape. Truck cab / body is in good shape very little rust. Interior is in pretty good shape, has small rip in seat, top middle of seat cover has come loose (see picture), some plastic trim above drivers door is cracked, some screw holes in dash and floor from radios that were removed.Truck still has a usable NMO antenna mount on roof I used with yaesu 2 meter amateur radios. This truck starts and runs great, better than most newer trucks. It starts great in the cold utah winters and the glow plugs work. Has decent power for towing stuff and still gets good mileage (I believe it was around 22 on the last trip we took). I've never over loaded, overheated, or abused it. Rear of truck has 7 blade RV, 7 pin commercial, 6 pin round, and 4 pin towing light connections. Current tires are in used condition, maybe 25% tread but all hold air fine and I would estimate need to be replaced within a year. Sold as-is no warranty implied.
