Car description |
---|
The frame-off build was finished in February of 2016 by Jason Swaim of Budnik Wheels. I have over 200 photos of the build along with receipts. The car has the best of the best when it comes to parts including Detroit Speed, Dakota Digital, Chassis Works, Baer Brakes...the complete list is outlined below. The body mods are subtle and are meant to enhance an already timeless design. The body currently has a 3M wrap that's in good condition. The wrap was on the car when I purchased it. The paint color under the wrap is Matador Mica Red from Lexus. The body work and paint were completed by Adam Berg of Settin' Trendz in Fresno, CA. The combination of the LS3 with the hot cam and the Tremec 6 speed create a true driving experience. The 3.73 gears provide great low end performance and the 6th gear allows you to cruise 75mph at 1800 RPM. The Magnaflow exhaust creates an angry exhaust note. The interior rivals many new cars on the market. The complete interior was sourced from TMI Interiors including seats, dash pad, door panels, headliner and trunk. Three point seatbelts were added to the front and rear. The Vintage AC blows cold but the heater does not work. Per the previous owner the heater control valve was installed backwards and is in the inner fender. It stays warm enough in Texas that I have not pulled off the fender to fix. The rear tires are brand new. ECM recently replaced with a factory GM ECM to prevent car from going into limp mode. Current mileage is 7,400 of which 3,000 has been added by me since purchase in January of 2018.
