1969 Chevelle SS Pro Street - SHOW and GO!
Whether at the drag strip or the local car show, this car is ready to take home trophies and break hearts like a true late 60s Chevy muscle car should. This bad boy is outfitted with a GM 502ci big block with ported/milled heads, a solid roller 236/244 .623/.623 111LSA cam, TH400 w/ TCI billet 2800 stall w/transbrake, and a Moser 9” rear w/Wavetrac LSD, 3.73 gears and 35 spline axles, just to name a few goodies. Extensive body and suspension work has been done to ensure that this car will last for years to come, from both cosmetic and performance standpoints. No expenses were spared on this build. Between the custom fabrication, restoration work, paint work, roll bar, wheel tubs - receipts from the restoration shop total over $55,000. Over $15k in engine and transmission work was done to create a streetable, powerful, yet bulletproof setup. It is also equipped with a fully tubular front suspension setup with adjustable coilovers all around for maximum adjustability, and disc brakes on all four corners. Paint work alone totaled over $13,000, and the fully custom top-grain leather interior, including leather wrapped roll bar and fuel cell totaled $12,700.
This car has been completely gone through and needs nothing but a new owner. With over $130k invested, it is one seriously bad ass setup that is a pure joy to drive, and it turns heads everywhere it goes. The car drives true and straight with no abnormal noises or vibrations. The cam is relatively mild for the displacement of this engine, so it’s very mild mannered on the street. The car is equipped with line lock, a trans brake, and a manual valve body for kicking ass at the track. It also has electric cooling fans and an aluminum radiator, so it runs at a consistent 185-190 degrees in stop and go traffic. This is a true show and go setup with one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen in person. Independent, local inspections are welcome - the car is for sale by private owner looking to downsize his collection, and is currently stored in a climate controlled garage in Stuart, Florida.
Feel free to call the owner, Jim, at (772) 285-3320 with any questions or concerns.
