Hi ! You are looking at, A 1965 Chevy C20 Pickup, With under 97,000 original miles!... It was raised it's whole life here in, Los Angeles California....He surrendered The original black and yellow California plates because he didn't want to pay the extra commercial vehicle fees :/ It is as solid as it was, When new.... Dry frame rails, Floors, Rockers, Dash, and Kick panels, Are completely rust free!
So the story goes, When the original owner bought this pickup, New in 1965... He also bought, The Alaskan camper, Just days a part, And was never apart since, 1965.... The pickup was only used as a camping vehicle, Which explains, The low mileage.
The paint is original, Minus some primer spots, That was done years ago, From surface rust.. NO rust holes, or bondo!!! The pickup and camper, Have both aged together these 53 years, And are showing there, Original Patina.
About 15 Years ago, He upgraded the Engine, With a rebuilt 350 V8 4V.. To Keep up, With Today's traffic.. Not that the, Original inline 6 Cylinder was in bad shape, He just wanted a little more HP... It also has a, heavy duty radiator, Runs cool...The brakes have just been done, And 5 new tires,
As for the camper, He had the propane system updated... The burners, 2 way refrigerator and freezer, Gas and electric, Are in good working order. The tank for the sink, was token out many years ago.. It is really easy to raise it and lower it... Like jacking up a car.. and lowering it...
All the lights work, Pickup/Camper... the heater in the cab, Works good...
Over all, This is a pickup, That was owned and Loved since it was new, By the same original owner! So if you are looking for a good old solid, Running and Driving. Pickup.. with the potential to last, Another53+ Years, I will highly recommend, THIS ONE!
PLEASE BID TO OWN, NOT JUST TO WIN! MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO THE WIFE, YOUR KID, YOUR NEIGHBOR, AND YES WE DON'T THINK THE DOG CAN HIT THE BID BUTTON :) In all honesty, There is time and fees involved. If you have any questions, Please call, At (818) 879 -3764 David.
I have the right, To end this auction at any time, Thank you... And happy BIDDING!
