Folks, I did a trade on my 1955 Chevy Nomad and this beautiful Corvette was part of the sale.
This is a really nice Corvette. It is 50 years old and like all classics they need to be tinkered with and maintained.
The AC compressor is not hooked up, but included.
I amnot sure if AC unit needs work to function.
I did not care because it adds horsepower to have it unhooked.
The gauges all seem to work. The speedometer and odometer
may need to be looked at. They move, but likely not accurate.
Not sure if heater system works. Did not try... I do not need heat in my climate.
Cassette player and radio appears to be original. I am not sure if they work.
The body is in great condition. The body is Fiberglass and there has been some touch up down on nicks. I SEE NO BODY DAMAGE.
There are some scratches on the back bumper, but overall has nice bumpers.
The doors and top rubber weather stripping could use replacement.
The brakes are drum and work well.
The engine has a 350 V-8.
It drips a little bit of oil, but not much.
The air filter decal says 327 V-8. The previous owner said
the motor was switched outit is NOT numbers matching.
The motor runs strong and has a manual choke. It is cold
blooded to start and I use the choke andsome pedal pumps and off it goes.
The custom side exhaust look cool and the sound is
Just right--- NICE MUSCLE CAR RUMBLE.
Glass is average condition, some small nicks, but see no cracks.
The headlights open and shut with slight delay on one of them.
BE PREPARED TO GET LOOKS, LOT OF LOOKS AND HONKS WHEN YOU DRIVE THIS BEAUTY AROUND.
This car is Sold AS IS.
This is a really good driver to enjoy on WEEKEND drives,
Car Shows, parades etc.
