Just over 20,000 miles on the new engine installed in 2013 by Larry Hofer at the San Diego Corvette Shop. This was the last production year of the C3 Stingray body style. All maintenance records available. All maintenance done by Larry Hofer of the San Diego Corvette Shop.
Carfax shows clean with the exception of periodic issues getting smogged in California, but it always passed with a new oxygen sensor or other minor fixes. The "mileage inconsistencies" are due to technicians not listening to the owner when she stated the actual mileage, not the current odometer readings.
I bought my Corvette on June 4, 1982 at the age of 23! I have driven her at least 4 days a week for the last 36 years, and still enjoy the thrill of her acceleration and tight cornering. The best part of the attention that I get driving my Corvette is from the young kids that are smart enough to appreciate a Classic American made muscle car.
Like her owner, this Corvette would benefit from a little bit of cosmetic work, like hiding some of her wrinkles and maybe a new coat of paint! I am retiring soon and as much as I still enjoy driving her, she doesn't make a very practical tow car behind our motorhome! It's time for someone new to enjoy her!
