1979 CHEVROLET HALF TON LWB 4X4 PICKUP TRUCK 350 V8 AUTOMATIC TRANS, NO RESERVE

Up for auction is a 1979 CHEVROLET C10 LONG WHEEL BASE HALF TON 4X4 PICKUP TRUCK ON A NO RESERVE AUCTION. The truck runs great . does not smoke. has a strong automatic transmission and transfer case. 4x4 system works great ( the transfer case shifter binds a bit but will engage and although the hubs work I would replace them). there is no rust through except for the rocker panels (pictured). the floors. bed and body are rust free besides some surface rust. This is a Texas truck with a clear Texas title. The gauges work and a new torque converter was just installed and is under warranty. I only have an ignition key and no door keys. The body is in good shape with a few minor dings. dents and scuffs. The headlights work and there is a stereo in the truck but it isn't working at this time (it is probably disconnected). The truck has a tilt steering wheel. The mud grip ires are in fair shape and it does have a matching spare. The truck has a light bar mounted in the bed with three light on top (not connected) the horn does not work and I don't know about the blinkers but the head light and tail lights work high and low beam. The hood has the typical chevy bend in it but has been reinforced. My son just drove the truck from San Antonio Tx. to Dallas and back with no issues. It will sit at idle for a long time and does not get hot and it did not get hot in the 5pm Dallas traffic at any time. Overall the truck is in really good shape. it is no beauty queen but it is good enough to restore at minimal cost or just drive it the way it is. you can drive this truck home if you wished to. It is a little cold natured but once warmed up it idles normally. I haven't noticed any leaks. The brakes are a little soft but the work fine (may need to be bled). I bought this truck a year ago to rebuild to stock but my job transferred me from Texas to Colorado recently and I cannot keep it. The truck is being stored at a storage facility in San Antonio Texas and my Son will be available for delivery. The headliner sags a little and it is a bit annoying. The truck drives down the road straight and there is very little play at the wheel. There are no signs of any accidents.
