Car description |
---|
A small, maneuverable WARSHIP. A Classic American two seat sports car with a rumbling V8 and removable T-TOPS so you won't miss any of the messages this car is sending to your senses. Rare and sought after 4 SPEED Manual Gearbox. In 1974 fewer than 10% of Corvette Buyers opted for this no cost option. Today a manual gearbox is a must to have.
Known and sought after world wide this STINGRAY takes you back to the 70's, an era when you were allowed to have REAL FUN! Only three generations of Corvette have ever had honor to be called the STINGRAY.
The STINGRAY nameplate was used in the Second Generation Corvette, the C2 (1963-1967), skipped on the 1968 and then used again fron 1969 thru 1976. It wasn't until the C7 generation that Chevy used the Stingray nameplate again.
The VETTE was built in Flint Michigan and St. Louis Missouri from 1953 to 1980. Since 1981 the Corvettes are built in Bowling Green Kentucky. Only Corvettes are built in that factory. The National Corvette Museum is there too.
Corvettes are known for speed and performance. This 1974 offering has long, swoopy lines, muscular bulges, and is cloaked in a cool white paint job. Soft leather seats are a must for a Touring Driver and this Corvette has that and more.
