Hi. up for grabs is my California born 1961 Chevy Impala bubbletop. As you can see by the pictures I've posted below this car is in very nice condition in and out. Below I will try and describe exactly what I see and know about this car. This car is currently registered and has a clean title in my name for a simple and stress free transaction. Starting With The Outside: 3 year old burnt orange 2 stage paint job sprayed over a really straight and rust free body that looks pretty nice. There are a couple paint touch ups and a few small dings here and there but definitely nothing that takes away from the car. It could use a wet sand and buff but all in all very nice. All the outside stainless moldings have been replaced front to back and side to side. All the emblems. billet grill(original will be included). outer door handles. license plates and placards. antenna. front fender ornaments. mirror. headlight bezels. headlights and taillights. painted black rear window moldings. door & trunk locks. etc are new. All glass is present and original. Wing windows have some bubbling and side glass has some pitting at bases. nbsp;but overall glass is still in real good condition. Bumpers look to still be the originals but still in real good shape. They are good candidates for rechroming. All headlights. nbsp;brake lights and turn signals are working properly. Inside: Redone within the last few years and still shows close to new. There's new foam and seat covers. headliner. visors & brackets. door panels. armrest bases & pads. ornaments. all pedal covers. door sill plates. e-brake handle. dome lamp lense bases & covers. door lock knobs. all window cranks. inner door handles. turn signal lever. column shift lever. dash fascia. inner glove box & lock. floormats. weatherstrips & rubbers. Carpet is not new but still in great shape. There's a Rockford Fosgate 6 speaker system that sounds incredible. There's a below the dash CD/DVD player installed that works great. Heater is not hooked up. Also included is an original tissue box painted to match. Motor & Transmission: I believe the car came originally with a 6 cylinder and a 3 speed on the column. but now has a really strong 283 with a turbo 350 transmission. The motor has a new endurashine chrome Edlebrock carburetor and intake. Headman headers. a billet serpentine pulley system. battery. hoses and belt. and a MSD Distributor and wires. Also some chrome parts: air cleaner and alternator & bracket. I decided to leave the original orange Chevrolet script valve covers in place since it kind of gave it a cool look and went with the retro theme of the car. Transmission is a turbo 350 that was installed at the time of the motor swap and shifts just as it should without any hesitation. Drive train has maybe 5. 00 miles on both. I'm not sure of reared gears but car is very freeway friendly. It's an all around solid driving car. This is a manual steering & manual brake car. but if my wife can drive this with ease so can you. Rims & Tires: Currently rolling on a set of stock 14inch wheels mounted on a newer set of white wall tires with a clean set of 61 Impala hubcaps. Also included will be a set of staggered 20inch Giovanna wheels pictured on a few of the pics listed below. 1 tire will need replacing. Rest of car info: Suspension has never been modified with any type of airbag system or hydraulic system. Front and rear springs were replaced with a set of EBay lowering springs to give it a nice looking stance. Also replaced were the front drum brakes and new wheel cylinders. There's newer dual exhaust that sounds great. real beefy sound. Front end bushings look to have been redone recently also. The trunk is clean and rust free. I ripped out the carpet kit that was in there when I got the car because I wanted to check for any rust or soft spots. none. Now theres a 3 piece trunk mat kit in there. Above I've tried to be as thorough as possible when describing this car but if you have anymore questions or concerns feel free to contact me via email. text or call me at 408-seven12-94two7. I price my cars to sell not to hold onto so my price is very reasonable. Check the prices on 1961 Impalas then call and make an offer. I have no problem ending my listing early for the right price. Also. I've sold quite a few Impalas overseas so I can help with coordinating the shipping to the Los Angeles port of your choice at a reduced price for you. Thanks! On Feb-09-15 at 14:34:32 PST. seller added the following information:**Please note: 1) In the pic where you see the front right side of hood it looks as though the hood is up on the rightside. its not. I hadnt adjused the hood bumpers yet. The hood does close evenly. 2) I have a trunk mat kit and a new spare tire that will be included with the car. I purposely left the mat kit and spare tire out so you can see how clean the trunk is. This is a serious listing and I expect serious buyers only. If you are new to EBay I expect a phone call before bidding so we can talk so I know that your a legit bidder and buyer. I'm sure all of you Ebayers understand this. ******
