1968 stepside shortbed -beautiful patina classic - 350 four speed ratrod

Truck was from Colorado so is very solid compared to east coast cars.
350 cu. in. Engine. 4 speed transmission. New interior, with tilt forward seat optionpowder coated door panels.New brakes,newer Exhaust, runs excellent.
I hate to part with it as it is very fun to drive.I keep it in the garage and had planned to either clear coat it or there is a process using linseed oil on patina or rat rod style vehicles. Some of the things I have that can go with the truck - rear bumper and all brackets. I like the look without the rear bumper so never installed. I also have most parts to add power steering. Pump- pitman- pulley etc.
The bed is very solid - prior owner put a steel plate on the bottom. I'll add pics of that my next trip to the garage. It's a great running truck that can be insured full coverage for about 75 a year.Engine is very powerful and the exhaust is somewhat loud so it is very fun to drive.
Absolutely a head turner. A lot can be done with the truck or just drive it as is.Rear tires are a bit wider than the front with rim offset to accommodate.

Any shipping is responsibility of the buyer. I'll do my best to help. If driving it home you must have it insured and transferred first. I see no issues with it being able to make a long trip but cannot guarantee due to its age. I've taken it on a 3 hour drive recently and had no issues.

Truck brakes are completely new - all components were replaced (every spring, wheel cylinders, ..... about 300 miles ago) Interior was done about a year ago by a local shop. Door panels were powder coated for extra durability. I have added more pictures including the bed area where the prior owner welded in a steel plate - It is extremely solid but could use paint or a coating. I kept the sign in the back so didn't worry much about it.

Truck is a Coil Spring Truck - so can be easily lowered - if the look is desired - as much as I prefer keeping things original - this truck would definitely look amazing slammed to the ground.
Why pay ten, twenty, thirty thousand for an imitated patina styled rat rod when this can be the real thing. Do a disc brake conversion and a few performance mods and you will have a head turner for sure.
