Car description

Hello.

You are bidding on a 1979 Chevy Pickup. It was originally purchased, owned and maintained by Siskiyou County in California. 2nd owner purchased it from a county auction, did the lift kit, new fuel lines, gaskets, and a bunch of other items on the truck.. Then life got in the way, and the truck sat in his shop for the last 12 years, and never left the property. I bought the truckabout a year and a half ago, and am the third owner. I replaced fluids etc to make itsafe and roadworthy. I found a new project, so nowthis truckneeds a new owner to take itto the next level.

Condition is as follows:

Drivetrain:

No major leaks to speak of. Suspension looks and feels good driving down the road, brakes work good as well.Engine runs good, transmission shifts good. Carburetor is a bit finicky at idle and at warm up.Carb is the only thing I haven`t gone through so it may need float adjustment or a carb kit, but overall it`s a good running and driving truck.Front tires are brand new, rear tires are older but havelike brand new tread and no dry rot or sun damage. All lights and electrical are in good working order.

Interior:

Very basic driver quality interior as you can see. Seat has no rips, dash has typical cracks on top. All glass is good, everything mechanical in working order.

Body:

No rust or bondo, and looks to be original paint so nothing hiding, what you see is what you get. That is NOT rust on the rocker panels, that is road rash from driving on gravel roads.I took pics of the undercarriageto show just how solid this truck is.

Overall:

Rock solid truck that looks good as is and can be driven as is while you fixor restore. Absolutely NO expensive panel replacement necessary.
