Description
NO RESERVE!This 1972 Corvette is in rough shape but hopefully someone is interested in bringing it back to life. I'm downsizing so this needs to go.
I pulled it out of a junk yard quite a few years ago and did some disassembly before losing interest. As you can see it has modifications common from the 1970s such as fender flares, hood, and filled-in bumpers. I do not have the original bumpers or anything to covert it back to original.
It is an original 4-speed with air conditioning. Neither the engine or transmission are numbers-matching
Engine- Block casting number 3970010- Block stamp 15B606042 K07 15 CM (I or J or 1?)- Cylinder head B 191 462624
- Holley aluminum intake- Headers- missing carb and valve covers
Muncie Transmission- case casting 3925660- stamp 19S735473 P9R02A
Rear differential- Unknown.
All of the components I removed come with the car and should be usable. Although not pictures it has all wiring harnesses (I left the dash harness in the car). I took care not to try not to cut or hack anything to the point a part had to be scrapped. There were several interior pieces that were beyond repair that I discarded because I knew if I were to get the car back on the road I couldn't use them.
There is rust in the birdcage documented in the pictures.
I have the Kentucky title (in my name) along with 2 ignition keys but no door keys.
The door glass is OK (manual windows) but the front and rear glass are broken. I do have a removable rear glass window that is not broken that I would be willing to sell to the winning bidder for an additional $150.
The car rolls easily and is on a flat paved surface so loading it will not be an issue.
