1969 Camaro Survivor all original drivetrain. X-11 SS Clone. This is a NO RESERVE auction so bid to own. It will sell THURSDAY, September 13th at 7:59 pm est. This drivetrain has just been rebuilt. The 350 numbers matching motor has new: Pistons, Rings, Cam, Lifters, Timing Chain, Seals, Rebuilt Heads. Also hasCeramic Tri "Y" Headers. The carborator is a brand new Holly 600 with electric choke. The transmission has a complete rebuild with a 2400 Stall Speed Torque Converter and aMild Shift Kit. The rear end is a 10 bolt with a Brand New Posi Unit installed. As you can see in the pics ( Ser # Shown) it is the original block. It also has the Protecto Plate and Owners Manual.
This is a very well preserved car due to the fact that it was Zebart undercoated when bought new in Columbus Ohio in the spring of 1969. There is absolutly no rot on this car. The floors are solid and perfectly preserved under the original undercaoting. Very nice color combonation with great looks. Please see the last 4 pics that show the flaws in the paint. It has been years since it was painted and some of the original paint has worn through. It has been buffed or simply worn to the point that spots show through. Also there is a light surface rust spot by the vinyl top trim on the rear deck (See pics). There are a few bubble spots under the vinyl top below the rear window (See pics). The nice thing about the old paint is you know what your buying. No bondo just waiting to bubble. There are also a few knicks and chips on the paint. Light road abraision on the lower sections.
It has new carpet and the original interior has no rips or tears. It also has the carpeted mat in the trunk. What a nice look. The trunk lid seal is new but the door seals could use replacing. They are wearing at the front where they meet the side windows. The radio has been replaced with a vintage style and look - but updated with all the great sound of todays systems. 3x9 Speakers in the back pacage tray. All the lights work including the dome light and Console courtesy light for the back seat passengers. The key buzzer works as well. All the seat belts remain including the shoulder straps on the cieling and the double set for the front seats. It has the neoprene bushings in the front end so it rides smooth and there are not rattles or clunky linkage when turning or hitting bumps. This is a tight car. The bumpers are new front and back.
