Car description

Thank for checking out my beautiful 1954 Chevrolet Belair 2-Door that was originally manufactured in New York. The car still has its matching stock drivetrain, a 235ci with the 2-speed Powerglide. The car has had an older restoration done with matching paint and trim per the car's manufacture's tag. The re-paint is still nice for its age, shines up real nice, but is not perfect, as it does have some filler and a few blemishes here and there. There is some rust on the lip of the rear quarters where it would meet up with the fender skirts. However, the complete underside/frme and wheel wells are great and still has its undercoating. The exterior trim and chrome is all there and shiny, however it's more of a driver quality overall. The complete interior was redone about 7 years ago and is still in great condition. The car has air ride and in order to retain as much of the stock drivetrain, the air ride system was installed using the original cross member and stock rear end (using a bag over leaf set up) and Gambino notches. It has 6" Slam Specialties bags all the way around with ½' line running into an Accuair VU4 manifold with 2 Viair 480C compressors and a 5 gallon tank. It is electronically controlled using a 7-switch AVS controller. The car also has brand new Coker 205/75/R15 whitewall tires (about a month old). This setup on the car drives really well and cruises around town and on the highway great! I've cruised to car to shows at 70mph on the highway with no issues. The motor was rebuilt about 10 years ago and has been converted over to 12 volt. It runs great and the Powerglide shifts great, however, it does leak a little if it's been sitting for a long time.I've also added a 4-channel amp to the car with some front and rear speakers using a AUX cord to listen to music. All of the interior and exterior lights work great. All of the instrument gauges and AM radio work as well. The horn is currently disconnected as I am using an old siren in its place, but it can easily be hooked back up. Please check out all the pictures and the videos below. The car gets tons of looks and has won several trophies at car shows. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time if it a local buyer purchases the vehicle.
