I have for sale a very nice and rare 1961 Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup. This little gem is even more rare with it having an automatic transmission. The truck runs and drives good with good brakes. The engine is 6 cylinder 145 Cubic Inch, air-cooled, and has 80 HP. The engine compartment is clean. The odometer shows 47,927 miles. The way cool thing about these pickups is the ramp, which works well. The latches and safety latch hold well. The tailgate also works well. The e-brake also holds the truck. The tires are radials and are in great driving shape. Horn works. Wipers work. Headlights and taillights work. All turn signals work front and back. All windows and vent windows work. The muffler does cackle a little. The heater blower and radio are currently not working. The body of this fun hauler is in very good shape. The engine compartment is clean. The bed/storage area is nice. All of the glass is good and the chrome bumpers are excellent. As far as I know, all of the trim and emblems are there and all are in good condition. Lenses are good. The interior is in excellent shape as well. Very nice seat and nicely painted doors and dash. Nice headliner. Fuel gauge works but I'm having trouble tinkering with the speedometer. Odometer seems to be ok. The doors open and shut good and the door openings, jambs, and sills are nice. The paint shines nicely and the black and white shows well. In 2012 the previous owner spent $2240 on a long list of maintenance items like: new brakw hoses, o-rings, oil pan gasket, throttle parts, shift cable etc, valve body pistons, trans governor and gasket, fuel pump, spark plugs, rebuild carb, brake shoes, PCV, etc. A new wiring harness was installed in July 2008. This would be a very cool and sometimes very useful little pickup to tool around town in. Go to the local hardware store in this 1961 Rampside pickup and start up some good conversations. Please feel fee to ask questions. Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available.
