The fit and finish on this truck makes it stand out from the crowd. Many people would say that the body lines of a '72 C10 are perfect by design. But when we say it in regards to this truck, it means that special care was taken to get the panels straight and the panel gaps consistent so that when the paint went on, there would be no doubt that they were, in fact,... Perfect. The paint... was an awesomely interesting choice. Ochre and white. A nice color combination you may occasionally see on the road that takes on a whole new look and really pops when it is finished out and presented like this. Light follows the long straight lines down the side of the body in uninterrupted streaks. A thin black and chrome molding separates the Ochre top from the White center, and another black and chrome molding, but this one wider, with a wood grain center divides the bottom line. A classic eggcrate grill with dual headlights lead the way up front underlined by a sharp looking chrome bumper. Out back the white panel of the tailgate has the Chevrolet script expertly painted in Ochre. Drop that tailgate and you will see that the paint inside the bed as well as the freshly finished wood slats received just as much love as the rest of the truck. Tying the look together is a set of Cragars with Voque tires that just look stunning in chrome white and Ochre. Open the door and get ready to be impressed some more too. A fresh black door panel greets you with an inlaid pattern surrounded by chrome piping. The power driver's seat out of a '99 Tahoe will grab your attention and welcome you onto its comfortable, multi adjustable perch. In front of you will be a beefy wood tone steering wheel with a bowtie center that feels good in your hands. Behind it you will see a black panel set into the Ochre dash full of gauges that look crisp and clean and are surrounded by thin chrome piping. The padded upper dash is also black and off to the right there is an AM/FM cassette player for your listening pleasure. Fresh black carpets and floor mats with a yellow bowtie and piping finish the look off nicely. Raise the hood and you will find a tried and true 350 cubic inch V8. It sits in a neat and clean engine bay with black inner fender wells and Ochre edges and firewall. The engine is stock except for a set of headers that run out through a dual exhaust and Super Turbo mufflers which give it a nice sound. There is a chrome top on the air cleaner feeding a stock intake and cylinder heads. Finned aluminum valve covers look good and signs of good regular maintenance are evident with newer belts and hoses as well as newer spark plug wires. The power flows back through a 3-speed automatic trans to the rear axle mounted on trailing arms and coil springs. That suspension system provides for a nice ride in a pickup truck. The front suspension is independent control arms and coil springs with power steering and power front disc brakes. The rubber meets the road through those 235/70R15 Voque tires mounted on the Cragars all around. A gorgeous truck that is comfortable and reliable too. Come on down and check it out. We think you will be impressed.
