This car is done right. It is comfortable, drives well, and is absolutely beautiful inside, outside, and even in places you can't see. Check it out. The result of a lot of labor is a paint job you just gotta love. A two-tone of Dark Garnet Red Pearl and Champagne Pearl basecoat/clearcoat is stunning. Needless to say, lots of preparation was involved in getting the panels straight and the gaps right before it ever saw a drop... of paint. The light catches the long straight lines of the body and the cowl induction hood adds a bit of a curve as it bulges up to provide lots of cool air to the engine. A simple horizontal chrome grill is underlined by a sharp looking bumper. The Garnet upper treatment runs over and down the trunk highlighting the trim and bumper at the rear nicely. Chrome Billet Specialty wheels have a 4.5" back spaced offset in order to set them neatly under the clean body lines of the stock fenders, and the look is sweet. Open the door and you will find a custom interior that echoes the two-tone theme of the outside. The door has the Garnet upper and Champagne lower with a black panel in between. An Ididit tilt steering column mounts a two spoke steering wheel and sits in front of a pod with Autometer gauges. The speedo and tach are in the center with the other engine gauges mounted off to the right. The controls for the Vintage Air A/C system are just above a custom center console that contains an Alpine AM/FM/CD/iPod compatible head unit with speakers mounted in the package shelf for your listening pleasure. Also mounted in the console are the controls for the Air Ride suspension and the shifter for the automatic transmission. Pro Car bucket seats are trimmed out to match the rear seats and are a comfortable place to do some cruising. The glass and moldings are new all around and popping the trunk reveals that it received the same attention to detail as the interior. Pop the hood and you will find a 350 cubic inch GM Performance crate motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. A chrome air cleaner feeds a Holley carburetor and an aluminum GM intake. Chrome bowtie valve covers add their touch of class and TCI powder coated headers get the spent gasses out and headed down to a fully welded dual exhaust system. A Griffin aluminum radiator keeps things running cool even on hot days. A Hughs Street/Strip Turbo 350 transmission with a 2000 stall speed converter gets the power headed back to a 4-link rear suspension that locates a posi diff with 3.08 gears. Up front a TCI front clip has power rack and pinion steering and 2" drop spindles. The Air Ride suspension front and rear gives the car an awesome stance and 4-wheel disc brakes have slotted and cross drilled rotors. The rubber meets the road through 215/50R17 tires mounted on those offset Billet Specialties wheels all around. Check out this very special Chevy II Nova. It's done right and is absolutely beautiful.
