Up for sale we have a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS. In 2010 this Chevelle had a beautiful restoration done. It had some upgrades to the drivetrain along with Vintage Heat and AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. When you look at the body on this Chevelle you can see it's solid with excellent body lines. This Chevelle has the working Cowl Induction Hood. Everything is covered in the Tuxedo Black that is accented by the White Stripes that are under the clear. Down the sides it's straight with a great fit of the doors. Inside the jams and in the trunk is very nice. New weather stripping was installed along with new window seals. This '70 has new bumpers as well as other new chrome. The trim around the glass and roof rails all looks like new ad does the grill. The final exterior touch is the custom set of 18" and 20" Billet Specialties.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '70. On the inside it's very neat, clean, and done right. It has the bucket seats and console. The seats are covered in the black vinyl. Also done in black are the door panels, carpet, and headliner that were replaced at the time of the resto. This Chevelle has the SS Round Gauge dash and tach and stocks style AM Radio. It comes set up with a tilt column along with the custom grip wheel.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood the inner fenders and firewall were painted at the time of the resto to give it more eye appeal. This Chevelle is powered by a 468 Big Block that has an Aluminum Intake, Valve Covers, and Breather. The transmission is a M20 Muncie 4 Speed that's mated to a 12 Bolt posi with a 3:41 gear. The exhaust flows through headers and Flow Masters. This '70 is set up with factory Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The rear brakes have been upgraded to disc by Wilwood. Also, this Chevelle has Vintage Heat and A/C with the everything being installed with an eye for detail. When you look under the Chevy the floors and frame are as gooda s you will see. It has the front and rear sway bars as it should.
This Car was built with driving in mind. We are advertising it to be an Super Sport clone.
