Car description |

Beautiful 3-owner 1968 L78 Camaro SS396, 4 speed. Numbers matching with original warranty book and Protect-O-Plate. Original high-performance 396 big block with Muncie M20 close-ratio 4-speed.
This car was manufactured at the GM Van Nuys plant and sold to the original owner, who willed it to his sister, who sold it to me. This car is rare as it is one of only 4,575 Camaros built in 1968 with the L78 high-performance big block motor. The car was stored indoors and driven only enough to maintain it in excellent mechanical order for mor than two decades. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts and brakes beautifully. The car is VERY original and has only 93,351 original miles on the numbers matching drive train. The car has MANY original parts including the T-3 headlights, jack, Firestone spare tire on date-stamped rim, keys, warranty book, Protect-O-Plate, Owners Manual, Owners Manual sleeve, etc. The car is well preserved but has not been restored. The interior is in very good condition with no rips, tears or other significant defects. The body is very straight and the panels line up beautifully. No rust in trunk, floor pans or window channels, with only one small spot at the bottom rear of the drivers side fender.
If you have any questions or would like to view the car please call Roy at 760-819-9357.
