Up for sale is a beautiful 1965 Impala Station Wagon. This car came from the factory with the original color "evening orchid". This color was only offered in 1965 at that time you could have o ordered any General Motors car with this particular color, but it was only offered for one year and there are not too many vehicles models that came with this color. I purchased this vehicle from the original family who bought it brand new in 1965 I've owned the car for approximately 5 years, enjoyed it thoroughly been on many road trips, I even had the opportunity of pushing a vintage Dragster at the October Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield. This vehicle is very reliable. I believe the engine was updated to a 350 but it retains the original drivetrain, the 2-speed automatic transmission has been rebuilt as well as the suspension shocks Springs sway bars and tires, all of these things have been done within the last five thousand miles. The car starts runs and drives very well, the windshield does have a small leak it should be sealed otherwise there is no need for any other repairs at this time. There are some small rust spots on the paint shown in the photos, but as you can see the underside of this car throughout is very rust free. This is a California car, has always been a California car and it comes with California title that is currently registered in my name, ready to transfer. This is a very solid Car, it will make a beautiful addition to anyone's car collection, this car gets attention everywhere it goes, the color is so unique I am constantly getting compliments on it. It's a very fun car to drive, the only reason for sale is to help finance a home restoration. This car otherwise would not be for sale.Buyer is responsible for transport and pick up.
