Current owner bought in 1987 from dealer who knew the original owner. Bought with 3693 miles. When not out for a ride, car has been kept at home in his garage. Paint, weatherstrips, vinyl are all in pristine condition as car has seen little exposure to the sun, and outside. (See pics)

DETAILS OF CAR:

*Z28 package

* 5.0 litre high output engine

* Power windows

* Power locks

* Power trunk release

* Cassette player

* Radial tires

* Rear defogger

* Fold down rear sear

* Drivers recliner

* Owners manual

* Service manual

* 2 sets of keys

Paint-

* We did not see any scratches on the car, and the paint is very smooth, shiny, and appears to match all the way around as expected.

* It has a look very much of a factory like finish.

* We do not see any imperfections in the paint, which would be a possible indication of a touch up.

* Owner believes that the paint is all original, and has no reason to think otherwise. He has not had anything painted on the car since he has had it.

* Was able to find 4 very tiny nicks on the right rear quarter, and on the left side of the hood. Also 2-3 very small nicks on the drivers and passengers mirror. (See pics)

Body-

* We have been looking all day over the car in the garage and outside in the light, and we have yet to find any panel on this car that looks anything other than original.

* We can't find any dents, dimples, or creases of any type.

* Its as beautifully straight as probably the day it was built.

* The fits of the doors, hood, and trunk all look uniform and correct just as it was probably built. (See pics)

Magnets-

* We did a couple readings on each of the panels, as a typical factory paint it has a little variation in it but mostly in the 5-10 mils.

* Nothing jumped out with a higher number that would indicate material from any type of repair.

Black Colored Bright Work-

* All the bright work shows no wear at all, and is all intact.

* There are no indication of dulling from exposure, no damage or wearing, and looks like that of a car just a couple years old.

Glass-

* All of the glass (meaning windshield, side glass, and rear glass) has the LOF emblem on them. We have reason to believe its original, as owner did not know of any replacements.

* The glass has no discoloring, cracks, bull-eyes, scratches, wiper marks, or delamination.

* At the most there are a few pin head size nicks that can hardly be seen, other than that it is as close to new as you could expect.

Interior-

* It totally amazed me how little aging and exposure this car has had, and has spent 99 percent of its time in the garage and in storage. It is so well preserved, and hard to believe its condition for 35 plus years.

* Everything appears to be original with the exception of new mats.

* The cloth, vinyl, and plastic materials look so fresh and new that its just hard to imagine, we just don't typically see that.

* I do not see any fading or color loss.

* The vinyls and the cloths are all very supple, and not dried out.

* The sun visors are all intact with good covering, and solid backing.

* The headliner is all intact as it should be, with a small amount of wrinkling in the center.

* The seats do not show any wear and the materialjust looks completely wear free.

* The door panels and inside panels you will see the blue and blacks are both vivid coloring without any noticeable deterioration.

* The carpets do not show wear or typical fading, which they typically do.

* The dash components and gauges all have good color and show no damage.

* The steering wheel shows no cracks or breakdown.

* Looking at the pictures is probably the best way to really appreciate it.

Trunk-

* Look carefully at the carpet and surrounding panels, again there is vertically no wear or age.

* On the right compartment you will find the jack and tool, as well as the spare tire. The tire sits on paper to not get original rust proofing on the tire itself.

* On the left side is another locking compartment that looks as if its never been used.

* Fold down back seat and t-top cover as stored in trunk.

* Owner indicated when cold the struts do not always hold the tailgate up as well as it should.

* In the trunk hatch water drainage holes you will see the seepage of rust proof material, which proves its existence.

Tires and Wheels-

* Goodyear Eagle GT

* They are the original tires and wheels indicated by owner.

* There is no damage to the tires or wheels.

* The finish on all the wheels do not show damage, and all the lugs are matching.

* The left rear cap does have some damage. (See pics)

* Left front- 215-65-15 6/32 Tread remaining

* Left rear- 215-65-15 6/32 Tread remaining

* Right front- 215-65-15 6/32 Tread remaining

* Right rear- 215-65-15 6/32 Tread remaining

Engine and Transmission-

* In looking under the hood you are seeing it in its natural form, with some rust proofing showing and some light dust that has accumulated.

* I do not see anything that looks altered other than the update to 134 refrigerant, and the new battery that was installed in early 2018.

Chassis-

* Its all well preserved and as close to new as you can imagine.

* The car has a uni-body construction without noticeable repairs, nor does it look to need any.

* Current owner had car undercoated right when bought car at just a few years old. It has protected the car well from rust, and has acted as a great protector.

* There is no rust perforation, and only a slight amount of surface rust on the exhaust system(which you cant undercoat).

* The engine area looks dry with possibly some light seeping by the bottom of transmission, and pan gasket.

* There is no leakage at the rear end. (See pics)

Test Drive-

on the test drive Chad rode several miles with owner driving, and after we put the car on a rack for the photos he drove the car several miles back to owners home. I would say that it performed just as it was designed without any flaws. The steering was quick and smooth. Upon braking we did not have any pulling to the left or the right, it was without pulsation, straight, and stopped quickly. Upon accelerating and deaccelerating the engine ran properly and smooth. The transmission up shifted and down shifted as you would expect it to in all gears. Over all it drove nice and smooth, and is a great solid ride.

Mechanical-

* Power door locks work both left and right

* Drivers remote mirror works

* Windshield wiper work on both speeds

* Horn works

* Tilt wheel works

* Inside hood release works

* Inside trunk release works

* Power windows work both left and right

* Rear window defroster light comes on indicating it works

* Four way flashers work

* Speedometer works

* Odometer works

* Tachometer works

* Temperature gauge works

* Fuel gauge works

* Cigarette lighter works

* Air conditioning works and blows cold, and was just topped off with 134

* Air controls work

* Hot to cold lever works

* Fan works

* Radio works

* Gear selector works smoothly

* Emergency brake works

* Dome light and both reading lamps work

* Headlights work high and low beam

* Marker lights work on both sides

* Front parking lamps work

* Rear taillights work

* License plate lights work

* Left blinker works front and rear

* Right blinker works front and rear

* Oil pressure with engine warm is about 40 lbs

* Back up lights work
